Why can’t a house run itself?
Autonomy is useful. Personality is the point.
A property already contains dozens of small decisions: price, access, energy, maintenance, cleaning, recommendations, messages and moments of care.
New technology can connect those decisions. The creative opportunity is to make the result feel less like infrastructure and more like a place with memory, judgement and a recognisable way of doing things.
The house should do more of the administration. The host should have more room to host.
